LSI has developed an effective management system and software tools that are used to efficiently manage thousands of critical Air Force components. This system was developed in response to a large task-order based integration contract that required us to manage the complete supply chain of components that are required to support the Landing Gear repair shop at Hill Air Force Base.
Our system includes:
- The development of a team comprised of former government executives included a program manager, operations manager, engineers and supply chain managers
- A propriety database that effiecently stores and manages all procurement, engineering, quality, delivery and operational information
- A core group of ISO approved suppliers that have been identified as key manufacturers
Our integration business model and management system has been effective in reducing parts cost, increasing quality and reducing production lead time to the Government. Over 35 years of logistics experience in the military aerospace industry has allowed us to ensure that our integration of required parts and services will result in the greatest overall value to the government.
This integration business model is now being applied to several other task order contracts within the Air Force. It is available to assist with any integration requirement.
