Inventory Management is an essential element in assuring accurate spares planning and inventory control. LSI has managed several contracts with tens of thousands of line items of inventory. We have done this through the use of existing inventory management systems in conjunction with customized databases created in-house. We have the ability to track inventories at multiple locations with assets having multiple ownership.

LSI manages all aspects of inventory, including developing minimum, maximum and re-order quantities. This is essential to ensure that parts are 100% available when they are needed. We establish these quantities through lifecycle data, including fall out rates, which are collected and monitored by our logisticians.

Inventory cycle counts are also part of successful inventory management. Complete cycle counts are typically performed annually on most programs with partial counts being done continuously. Reconciliation is performed upon completion of these counts.
