AST operates a dispatch center that receives AGE/GME movement requests and quickly moves equipment to designated points as directed. The AST dispatch center can be contacted by telephone or via two way radio 24 hours-per-day/7 days-per-week. The Dispatch Mechanics generally operate a four wheel drive vehicle equipped with a two-channel radio and a hand-held radio.
In the event a requested piece of AGE/GME is not available, AST notifies the government immediately.
